NFIB WA PAC Endorses Dave Reichert to be Governor
October 7, 2024
BELLEVUE, WA – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, announced today that they have endorsed Dave Reichert to be Washington’s next Governor.
“Dave Reichert was an advocate for Main Street and Washington’s small businesses throughout his time in Congress,” said Patrick Connor, NFIB Washington State Director. “As a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee and chairman of the Tax Subcommittee, Dave fought to help Washington’s small business community thrive. As Washington’s next Governor, Dave will continue to champion policies that will make Washington one of the best states for entrepreneurship.”
According to a recent analysis, Washington State ranks as the worst state in the nation to start a business due to the high costs of operating, an issue Reichert has vowed to tackle as Governor.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy which is why I am honored to have the support of NFIB to be our next Governor,” Reichert said. “For too long, small businesses have been crushed by needless regulations and high taxes. I will work with the Legislature to give our entrepreneurs the break they deserve and need to help grow their business.”
Earlier this summer, Reichert released his 9-1-1 Blueprint on Cost of Living which included eliminating government waste to reduce the financial burdens on our business community as well as repealing unnecessary regulations that increase the cost to do business in Washington State. Additionally, during a debate with his opponent in Spokane last month, Reichert vowed he would oversee an extensive regulatory reform for the first time since 1994.
